Why Firefox Stalls Sometimes

When reading an article on the web, and scrolling, sometimes firefox would stall and would notice that the disk lights is reading. I have a fairly amount of RAM so it's not the problem. What I noticed is that I have a number of RSS feeds that is loading that would make my browser slow at times; it might other issues too, maybe.
