Download and install the meego sdk installer from the http://meego.com website.
Using Synaptic Package Manager, install qt-creator, and g++.

Learn Objective C in Ubuntu Using GNUStep
If you want to learn Objective C, but don't have the money yet to buy a Mac, you can use Ubuntu 10.04 using GNUStep. Just install from Ubuntu Software Center and search for gnustep, projectcenter (Xcode in Mac), and gorm (Interface Builder in Mac).
